The best way for adults to join the club is to come along to one of the training sessions in your running gear and join the training run. For the SENIORS, Monday evenings are best for beginners/intermediate runners or those coming for the first time as this session is a steady run with differing routes and all paces catered for. Wednesday and Thursday evenings are for intermediate to experienced runners. These sessions can however be tailored to all abilities but in each case arrive in good time and ask for the coach in charge of that session and you will be made very welcome. We are pleased to welcome runners of any standard from complete beginner to international. If you have any doubts you can speak to any of the committee members who will be happy to advise you. Please note Monday 7pm and Thursday 7.15pm meet at the Clubrooms. Wednesday 7pm meet at Ballymote Leisure Centre. **From April to September Monday 7pm changes to the car park at Down High. A weekly schedule is posted on facebook to update any changes.
JUNIOR SECTION Due to its ongoing success and the limiting factor of inside space and the number of qualified coaches available the Junior Section is currently closed to new members. If you wish to be added to a waiting email please email firstname.lastname@example.org The club is also re-structuring the Junior Coaching sessions from 1 April 2018 to allow current athletes to train in a safe and Athlete Centred environment in line with the recommended athlete:coach ratio. Please see link below for full details of the changes taking place.
