Orangegrove AC to host Athletics NI (Road) Relay Championships 2014:
This year the Orangegrove AC Festival of Running incorporating ANI 2014 Road Relay Championships and NIMAA 2014 Relay Championships takes place on Saturday 4th October 2014. For the official video invite please click on the link.
PRIMARY AND JUNIOR RACES
Primary school individual races (£1 entry) are the only races with entry on race day. Junior individual races (£2) will require PRIOR ENTRY online – Junior Entry Form. Registrations open at 10:00 and it would help if you could register as early as possible.
Primary boys race (P4 to P7), 800m.
Registration closes 11:00. Race starts 11:10
Primary girls race (P4 to P7), 800m.
Registration closes 11:00. Race starts 11:20
u13 boys and u13 girls, 1689m.
Registration closes 11:15. Race starts 11:30
u15 boys and u15 girls, 1689m.
Registration closes 11:30. Race starts 11:45
u17 boys and u17 girls, 3380m.
Registration closes 11:45. Race starts 12:00
Medals will be presented immediately after each race at the finish area.
SENIORS AND MASTERS TEAM RACES
Relay races for Seniors and Masters can ONLY be entered using the on-line form – Entry Form – and you will NOT be able to enter a team on the day. A new form needs to be completed for each team and before proceeding with online entry, you need the following information;
– names of runners for male, 4 runners + 2 reserves
– or names of runners for female races, 3 runners + 2 reserves
– DOBs
– ANI registration numbers
– payment (in advance by Paypal, credit or debit card before close of entries).
Entries will CLOSE at midnight on Friday 26th September and there is NO facility for paying on the day. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ENTRY UNTIL THE LAST DAY.
12:30 – Masters Women, 3 x 3380m £30 team entry
13:30 – Masters Men 4 x 3380m £40 team entry
14:45 – Senior Women 3 x 3380m £30 team entry
15:45 – Senior Men, 4 x 3380m £40 team entry
Presentations for Senior and Masters races will take place after the each race at the start/finish area.
Masters (over 35 on race day) can run in Senior teams but obviously not the other way around. Please ensure you read the full event rules – 2014 Relay Rules.
