Club Chairman Joe Quinn is undertaking a 220 mile cycle ride beginning on 27th August to raise funds for Aware Defeat Depression in memory of his niece Jenny Quinn-O’Brien.  He will be joined on the trip by his cycling buddy Pat Power, Sports development Officer with Down District Council.  Joe has set up a Just Giving page for donations and would appreciate your support if you haven’t already given.

He is also open to cash donations, in any legal currency, if you can’t access the Just Giving  page.

All the money raised stays in Northern Ireland and will be used to help people living in your community, to help break down the stigma that surrounds depression by getting people talking about their mental health, to fund a Mood Matters course for young people,  or it could pay for one of the support groups for people who experience depression.”

I think you will agree that this is a worthy cause and quite a challenge.  Please give some support if you can.
